Job Listing: Top Shelf Management

2022 is your year to step up into this Top Shelf Management position. Located in the heart of the South Waikato – Waotu, this 260ha farm milking 680 cows through the 10 year old 54 bale rotary shed is fitted with all the mod-cons to make milking a breeze.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 including yourself plus a calf-rearer through the spring period. This farm is spring seasonal supply only with the ability to go OAD milking from January onwards (season dependent).

Provided with this position is a 4 bedroom brick home with 2 log burning fireplaces and easy to maintain surrounds. All fully compliant and ready to shift in. There is talks about a kitchen and bathroom renovation but nothing confirmed to date.

This farm is run by sharemilkers who in this instance would be the equivalent of farm owners. The owners don’t live on the property and so the sharemilkers are your direct report. All instruction and direction will come from them.
